This post is used to document the development log for version 4.0 of the Wenpai Leaf
WPCY.COM plugin. Many new features were originally planned for release last quarter, but due to switching devices without saving, the content now needs to be re-added.
First, let’s document the unreleased version 3.8.2, which fully supports brand customization and white-labeling.
Version 4.0 encompasses various new products and services developed by Wenpai Open Source and Wenpai Technology over the past year and more. Preparing the new version still requires some time, and we will strive to complete the WPCY.COM 3.9 release within the WordPress 6.9 cycle.

I finally had some rare free time these past few days. Since the WPCY trademark has been successfully registered, I redesigned the logo. It wasn’t great to keep using Apple’s built-in emoji.
Consider it a version recreated by imitating and redrawing it. I really like this color scheme and the effect of the original . So, let’s go with this.
Since the word “WPCY” doesn’t flow smoothly when spoken and its meaning isn’t readily apparent, for promotion and publicity, we’ll just call it WPCY.COM.
The default OG image for articles has also been redesigned. Supported websites will display it automatically. The empty space was originally left to easily add title text, but now it seems better not to add any—simple is best.
